Program Description:
Dry Land Boot Camp is a progressive program designed to improve the overall fitness and endurance of every team player. Each training session is different, but the core competencies that the team will focus on are:
- Cardiovascular endurance
- Overall body strength & awareness
- Flexibility
- Core strength & stability
- Quick & nimble reaction time
Various training formats will be used when focusing on the different core competencies. Drills will be used to develop cardiovascular endurance and explosive power. Circuits work on body strength & quick movements. Obstacle courses focus on improving agility and lateral movements. Body weight exercises will create body awareness, balance and overall strength. Partner and group work will aid in positive player dynamics.
In addition to the various training formats, equipment will be chosen based on the skill set that the team is working on. All equipment is provided and include but are not limited to:
- Agility ladders & cones
- Boxes
- Ropes
- Fitness balls (medicine, stability, bosu)
- Resistance bands
- Pull up bars
Our 5100 square foot facility is ideal for dry land training. The large open space can be transformed each week to facilitate the different types of training.
Increasing overall player strength, endurance & confidence will help ensure a successful season.
