This program has changed my life. I have lowered my body fat percentage by over 10%, improved on building muscle, and toning my body. Throught the help of my instructors, I have overcome my biggest challenge, and that was running. I now can run a mile without panicking, or feeling like I can’t breathe, and all without stopping to rest. My life has become a healthier one. Prior to this program, I did not exercise regularly, and now I have seen the benefits physically and mentally to keeping a more active life. This program has shown me that exercise can be fun, actually the instructors make it fun and exciting. I have the greatest admiration and respect for my instructors, for their knowledge, and their ability to organize day to day activities, keeping the program exciting, challenging, and supporting everyone’s strengths and weaknesses. After every session, I feel energized, and good about myself, because I know that I am becoming a stronger and healthier person.


Wow! What can I say about Boot Camp. I can say so much I don't know where to begin. I am 32 years old and have tried many different things to try and get myself into shape. Including working out with a personal trainer that cost me ALOT of money and just ended up hurting my knees. When I thought about doing Boot Camp the idea of getting up to workout at 5:30 in the morning freaked me out a little. Getting up and working out at 5:30 has been easy to adjust to and believe it or not, I have lots of energy throughout the day. I love camp and I love what is happening to my body as a result of it!


Allison and Athina’s Boot Camp is a great way to work out in a group setting, have fun and challenge yourself. A & A give you the individual attention to make sure you do the exercises properly and push you that little bit you normally won’t do on your own. It’s a great experience and it makes you appreciate sleeping in on the weekends so much more!


I used Adventure Boot Camp as my springboard to get my butt moving. I coupled that with changing my diet (ever so slightly) for the full 4 weeks and not only did I see results – my friends and co-workers did too. I thought getting up to workout for 5:30 am was utter insanity…and it is but you CAN do it! Early to bed, early to rise!

My top 10 observations about my first Boot Camp:

  1. 5:30 am is not as early as I thought it was going to be
  2. Over time, it becomes less humbling to collapse in shear exhaustion, in front of a dozen women
  3. I had no idea that an 8 lb weight can fell like 80 lbs after only short time of use
  4. I wish, as a child, I had learned to use my sisters skipping rope instead of tying her up with it!
  5. There is no correct technique to the “Ally Dance”
  6. Getting up at 5 am really makes you go to bed early
  7. Personally, I don’t recommend eating Indian food the night before boot camp
  8. It’s pretty cool to tell co-workers that I’m working out at 5:30 am , when I say yes to fries at lunch!
  9. My wife says my “core” feels tighter. (nudge, nudge, wink wink)
  10. I don’t think I will ever (be able to) kiss my feet :)

If you want to have lots of energy, have a great workout in a supportive environment and see your body shape change is 4 weeks…..boot camp is for you.


A truly enjoyable experience! I really enjoyed working out in a group environment while getting the same attention as working out on a “one-on-one” basis. Thanks Ally and Athina for your energy, your patience and for making everyone feel comfortable (and for reminding us all to breathe!!)


I look forward to boot camp each morning to participate with a highly motivated group of people to challenge myself with both cardio and strength training! The hour goes by so quickly and leaves me feeling energetic and accomplished all day!

Toronto Adventure Boot Camp is run by two very professional and inspiring women! Ally and Athina: The energy they bring outdoors before sunrise is incredible and infectious! This May 2006 was my first camp. It is called Boot camp, but I like to call it BOOTY camp! The day begins with me getting my booty out of bed and arriving for a start time of 5.30 am . You might think that is insane, I know I had too before beginning-especially because I am not, or should I say “was not” a morning person. There were days that were harder than others to rise and shine. Ally and Athina were a tremendous support system to me through that rough patch. I’ve made lots of new friends. Carolyn is my run buddy extraordinaire! The group of people who attend Toronto Adventure Boot Camp are not at all pretentious people. No one is judging you and that feeling you get from some gyms is not present among this group of people at all. Coming in to this my biggest challenge was fitting in an exercise routine into my work day. Upon joining my biggest challenge (aside from waking up so early) was running. By months end, I’ve tried my best to keep attendance, and beat my running score by one minute! I’d say that’s really not bad! I lost some weight and inches too! I’ve had a great time, celebrated my 32 nd birthday with the warmest greetings and look forward to many more early mornings with my 2 favorite bootyliscious women! Ally and Athina are the most valuable formula. As I’ve mentioned they are a great support system and also a super team of trainers. I believe this is ultimately the secret to their success! I highly recommend this much fun (and pain and sweat) to any new takers-C’mon from one booty to another: I DARE YOU!


Joining the boot camp has renewed my competitive, athletic side in me, which as been asleep for quite some time now. Once again, I love the energy I feel all day and the glowing/firm body I’m gaining. I have a bit to go but the results I see after just four weeks (and they did fly by), make me smile thinking how much stronger and healthier I will feel in the next four.


If you’ve been searching for a physical and mental challenge in a supportive and encouraging group setting, then you’ve come to the right place. There’s nothing like the Toronto Adventure Boot Camp to teach and encourage you as to what you’re truly capable of achieving. The results from the first assessment to the last are proof of that. Session after session, boot camp continues to kick my butt! I am 100% addicted and look forward to my 10 th session!!!!! I continue to get results and there is no better way to start your day.


I want to thank you for this exercise program. Shortly after I began, I had higher energy levels and a more positive outlook on life in general. The environment, the instructors and the other participants combined to make this one of the best things I have done for myself in a long time. It is truly amazing what a person can accomplish when she surrounds herself with positive and happy people.


This fitness and weight loss program is honestly the best gift I have given myself. It is motivating, stimulating and challenging…everything my old routine lacked. The Adventure Boot Camp is simply the best! I particularly like the variety of activities and the sense of fun that's built into the program. I have to admit I was a little skeptical about something entitled "Boot Camp". I envisioned a lot of yelling and not the most nurturing environment. However, since day one of camp, I have been nothing but thrilled to wake up and hang out with my newly acquainted friends. I look forward to every morning's new adventure.

I arrived at boot camp overweight and out of shape - a true couch potato who loved food and hated exercise. But, I knew it was time for a change and boot camp sounded like just the cure. What I was really looking for was something to jump start me into better fitness and eating habits. What could be better than four weeks of intense fitness training with other women under the guidance of an experienced trainer? And the classes were great! The variety of activities and pace of the class made the hour fly by each day. Don't get me wrong, it was a lot of hard work. It didn't matter that I was the slowest or the weakest. What matters is that I worked at and improved at everything. And the results are impressive. During the four weeks, I lost eight pounds. I lost two inches each around my chest, waist, and hips. I also lost over one inch on each arm and leg. I improved my one mile run time by 10%. Plus, I have more energy than ever. Best of all, it has given me just the boost I was looking to attain. I'm now eating better, sleeping better, and exercising regularly. I have the hope and belief that I can continue my new fitness habits and my journey to a leaner and healthier me. And I'm looking forward to returning to future boot camps to challenge myself again.
